PCM Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization Staff Resources

Each year, the PTO gives thousands of dollars back to the teachers and school through special projects, field trips, and teacher grants.

Special Projects

The PTO raises money for library and playground improvements as well as other school needs and requests. We encourage teachers and staff to come to meetings with ideas, so that we can consider their ideas for funding.

So far, in 2023-24 school year, we’ve provided First Day of School signs in front of both schools, provided the food for the Preschool Fall Festival, purchased library materials, funded the building of a Gaga Pit at PCE and a new Sandbox at ME, as well as many balls and toys for the playground.

Field Trips

The PTO pays for field trips for every PCM Elementary PTO students. Below are the list of field trips we’ve funded so far this year.

Teacher Grants

The PTO knows that being a teacher can be really expensive especially when you’re trying to make your classroom look extra nice or you’re trying to purchase items to help with organization, student projects, or even special classroom events. That is why we have teacher grants to help off-set some of that financial burden.

For teachers in their first 2 years at PCM Elementary, we provide $250 to help them get started at our school. From a teacher’s 3rd year on at PCM Elementary, we provide the teacher with $100 per year to continue to build up their classroom materials.
